Yellow Cucumber chicken curry-Chicken Dosakaya curry


Ingredients used in Chicken Dosakaya


• Chicken - 500 grams.
• Yellow cucumber - 1 big.
• Mustard seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Red chilies - 3 number.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Onion - 1 number.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Chili paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch.
• Oil - 2-3 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Lemon juice - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
 Yellow Cucumber chicken curry


Method:


Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds and saute it.
When mustard seeds splutter, add cumin seeds, dry red chilies, curry leaves, saute it again for about half a minute.
To it, even add onion paste, salt and cook this till slightly change the color.
In the same pan, add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, cook this till raw flavor is gone.
Now, season it with chili paste, coriander powder along with some water, mix it well.
Then add chicken pieces, yellow cucumber mix this and let it cook with closed lid for 25 to 30 minutes.
Finally add lemon juice, chopped coriander leaves.
